Why Behavior Change Is Harder Than We’re Told
For a long time, I believed the same story many of us were taught. If I just tried harder. If I stayed consistent. If I had more discipline. Then things would finally change.
But over the years, both personally and through walking with other women, it became clear that this story doesn’t hold up. Not in real life. Not in tired bodies. Not in nervous systems shaped by stress, trauma, or neurodivergent wiring. Most people don’t struggle because they don’t want change.
